Jack Scott "#27" 1981 Interwoven, cross-hatch charcoal, drawing on paper 40"x30" unframed Signed and dated in pencil on reverse Now available for purchase, this is one of fifteen 40"x30" cross-hatch, charcoal drawings on Strathmore paper, created in 1980-1981. The drawings are a dense constellation of cross-hatch lines that undulate in light and dark, creating a deep three dimensional quality, as if the forms are detached or floating on the paper. Minimalist in style, these black and white drawings are powerful, compelling images. Very Good Condition - Minor wear consistent with age and history. Edges have creases and minor discoloration
