Li Qingyan is a female Chinese artist born in 1972 who lives and works in Beijing, China. Qingyan is a painter by profession. She is member from China Contemporary Women's Painting Society, China Art Platform, China Women's Painting Society and researcher of China Imagery Oil Painting Research Association. In 2019, she became a painter of Shiqi Painting Institute. Her artworks have won many awards. Numerous artworks from the artist are published in books and on various mainstream media websites which can be searched on Baidu. Qingyan Li is also a musician on Tencent, and has joined the singer lineup on the QQ music platform. The medium of her artwork is mainly watercolor and ink on rice paper. Li's paintings are above all figurative. With four-dimensional, her works have a healing effect. The artist wishes her art has the superpower to save herself. Her mind wanders between reality and imagination. She resonates with herself and others by expressing the thoughts and emotions of the moment. She reflects the impetuous mentality of people in the current society. The works also appear soothing, romantic, empathetic and playful. Her work is also inspired by paper cuts, splashes, music, etc.
