Dual Purpose Vehicle Design Concept - Stat Photograph on Cardstock

About the Item

Design-quality blueprint of a concept vehicle by Edward T. Liljenwall (American, 1943-2010). Top and side views are highlighted, with a partial rear view to the left hand side. The vehicle is shown as having space for a person to lay down in the back and use it as a camping vehicle. The engine and spare tire are also shown at the front of the vehicle. Mounted on a piece of heavy black mat board. Signed by hand of the artist in the lower right corner. Art size: 17"H x 24"W Board size: 19.75"H x 24"W Edward T. Liljenwall (American, 1943-2010) attended Pasadena City College and later graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1967 with a BS in industrial design. He worked as an automotive designer before joining the Hewlitt-Packard design team and was largely responsible for designing the HP-35 Pocket Calculator, the first one of its kind. Liljenwall was awarded several patents for his design work while employed with HP.
