About the Item
This collage on paper explores the thoughts of the mind and how it works and connects our bodies. The upper half of this piece shows a human silhouette with a halo of light blues emanating from the head, possibly in thought. The sea of blues and greens in the bottom half suggests what is going on in the mind of the figure. The scientific diagrams of anatomy in the pieces of collage gives this work a unique intelligence that is meant to perplex. The art is sold framed.
Sergio Sericolo holds a MFA in painting from the University at Albany. He has nearly 30 years of experience as an exhibiting artist. Beyond his work as an artist, Sericolo is an Art Director in the Communications and Marketing Office and adjunct drawing and painting Instructor at Siena College in Loudonville, New York.
