Stacy Wiatrak
Stacy Wiatrak is a textile artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is now residing in Nashville, Tennessee. She is fascinated by color, texture and the strong emotions that these two visual elements can instantaneously evoke. The inspiration for her themes revolves around the extraordinary power of nature and ordinary life events. As it is with life experiences, her work can be viewed as a whole, or, when examined more closely, seen as the myriad of elements that combine to create it. Whether viewing a piece for the first or hundredth time, there is always some detail in Wiatrak’s works that previously goes unnoticed.
