Dorothy Finley pair of vintage paintings "Abstract Diptych" circa 1970s. Brilliant pair of large scale abstract paintings by listed artist Dorothy Finley, (American, 1920-2004) This was created as a diptych and are offered as a matching pair only. Each canvas measures: 40" wide x 48" high. The two together measure: 80" wide x 48" high. The simple pine frames add an additional half inch to the overall measurements. These fantastic paintings are bright, bold and colorful. They will be the focal point of any room. The paintings are signed on the back. Very good condition. Born Dec. 15, 1920, in Seattle, Dorothy Finley lived in Fallbrook, Ca from 1974 until her passing in 2004. She attended Fresno State College and continued her studies in Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and the U.S. She was a prize winning painter and teacher, since 1958.
