Amauri Torezan
Amauri Torezan is a contemporary artist who currently resides in South Florida. Gathering inspiration from modernist aesthetic, Mid-20th-century abstractionism particularly, he developed his disparate signature style. Densely layered compositions comprised of organic and geometric shapes, natural tonalities and patterns seem familiar yet foreign and purely abstract. Torezan's works allow freedom of interpretation, each viewer may see different things based on personal associative imagery. Artist's artwork is part of collections in the US, Europe, and South America. He was exhibited worldwide, at The Baker Museum, Coral Springs Museum of Art, as well as in international art fairs. Among Torezan's artistic collaborations are public art projects, philanthropic organizations, and partnerships with brands such as the Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer.
