Author: Spanish artist Ángel Luis Úbeda.
Composition where the power of the sky emerges as inspiration and predominates over the force of the sea, transformed into a soft bluish line of the horizon. The verticality of the composition elevates the immensity of the firmament, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in transcendence, among clouds that warp the horizon. The ocher reliefs on the base provide the contrast of an immanent nature.
Like the rest of Ángel Luis Úbeda's work, this landscape moves between abstraction and reality. The artist, with a brushstroke filled with relief and color, manages to convey the force of nature. An ocher-brown vein breaks the blue-green-white composition and surprises the viewer. The sky, immense, opens the perspective and projects its light.
The signature is in the lower right corner.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ángel Luis Úbeda was born in Madrid (Spain), in 1965. With a degree in Teaching and a degree in English Philology, his passion for art led him to complete his studies at the School of Arts and Crafts of Salamanca, and in various Schools of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Madrid. He has dedicated a large part of his life to the world of art, carrying out work that ranges from the assembly and production of theatrical works, to illustration work in different publishing houses and magazines. Likewise, he has been a drawing teacher and has organized art and comic courses and workshops in different educational centers in Spain (Salamanca, Ávila and Madrid).
His work shows a constant dialogue with nature to mix realism and abstraction. Fruits, landscapes or still lifes express his interest in materials, colors and strong textures, creating contrasts that lead the observer to an original, intuitive work of striking beauty.

Ángel Luis Úbeda (Madrid 1965) has developed most of his professional career within the world of teaching. His work as a painter and illustrator has been shown in exhibitions, both individual and collective, collaborating with different publishers and educational magazines. Self-taught, his work shows a constant dialogue with nature to mix realism and abstraction. Fruits, landscapes, or still lifes express his interest in materials, colors, and strong textures, creating contrasts that lead the observer to an original, intuitive, and strikingly beautiful work.
