About the Item
"Sheltering #10," is a contemporary abstract expressionist painting by Laurie Barmore. Her works are extremely dynamic, with impressionist-like strokes. This piece will modernize any setting and would be an amazing addition to any collection. This piece is one part of a 12 part series, created during quarantine. We will ship this via standard parcel boxed with internal support to maintain the integrity of the piece. The work will be fully insured during shipping. Laurie's work is influenced by Georgia O'Keefe for her organic forms, Van Gogh for his movement, energy, and vibrating color, and Joan Mitchell for her lyrical line. Barmore is an accomplished artist exhibited in galleries, museums, and art fairs throughout the United States. Her work is in personal collections across North America and Asia.

Laurie Barmore
Laurie Barmore is a master of color and composition, her colors just jump off the canvas with the energy she infuses into her composition. She has shown her work in Art Festivals, juried exhibitions and restaurants. In 2017, Barmore was included in her first museum group show at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara. Her work is in personal collections in California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Canada.
