Lilly Sotirova
Maestro Lilly Sotirova is a Bulgarian artist born in 1987. She began her studies in art at the School of Fine Arts in Sofia. Her interest in fashion encouraged her to continue in this path and she joined a front line Art School of Sofia, where she specialized in fashion trends and management. After crossing the Atlantic, she continued her course, but in the United States where she currently lives, in the fashion and design institute of art. Sotirova is extremely open minded while exchanging with others. Nourished by the history of art, she is particularly affected by the work and personality of Salvador Dalí or Klimt, she sometimes refers to them in her paintings. We can very quickly perceive the spiritual dimension in her work, including meaningful symbols such as the eye. This means both divine and mystery, it reminds us of Dali's subconscious eye. The notion of balance or imbalance also counterbalance the subject of her painting, mostly colorful abstracts. Sensitivity is given a log of importance. Sotirova paints with a lot of feeling. She has a passion for questions about energies in the universe and their interaction, painting is a medium, which allows her to experiment and exploit these questions. She preaches in the name of the present moment and the importance of living the present, to the fullest. Painting and poetry make up her sensitive and out of sync world, where kindness of humanity is the pillar. This accentuated taste for spirituality in art is present due to the artist's past, as she survived a car accident. Sotirova has done several personal exhibitions and also exhibited with other artists at the European Information Center of Sofia on the theme "Celebrate the European citizen," where Sotirova was the youngest artist guest. Her works are owned in private collections in the USA, Europe and around the world.

- Berry's Bay (20.11.18) - Original Oil PaintingBy Sally WestLocated in Los Angeles, CAWhat makes Sally West’s original oil paintings so recognizable is the combination of texture, abstraction, and calming colors. The movement of her paint strokes on canvas is reminiscent of a light breeze or waves. Each painting is completed in one day, with the date present in the title. West's textural pieces take at least eight weeks to completely dry. Once dry the thick paint takes on an almost sculptural effect. Overall, West’s color palette is uniquely her own and it conveys a very specific feeling of comfort associated with familiarity and softness. This large one-of-a-kind 39-inch high by 59-inch wide artwork is painted with thick, textural oil paint on canvas. It is wired and ready to hang. It is signed by the artist on the front lower right corner as well as the back. The sides of this artwork are painted and it is ready to hang. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping are available. A certificate of authenticity issued by Artplex Gallery is included. Sally West was born in West Wyalong, Central New South Wales. West grew up on a farm and as a teenager moved to Eastern Sydney for school. Throughout her life, she has traveled through and lived in both Europe and South East Asia to gain inspiration for her artwork. Although her international journeys have influenced her style, the subjects of her paintings are very close to home. The subjects of all of her paintings exist in an infinite timeline inspired by her location in Eastern Australia. Since West’s first breakthrough solo exhibition in New York in 2011, her artworks have become highly sought after internationally. She has won and placed as a finalist in numerous worldwide art competitions and juried exhibitions throughout her career.
