Together We Go is an original painting by Sophie Berger. Inspired by the adventures and excursions on Dartmoor Sophie and her dog Henry take. Battling the rain, hail and snow throughout the winter and now enjoying the first signs of spring, sunshine, warmth and the occasional blue sky. A feeling of excitement, joy and energy emanates from this painting.
Sophie often sketches on Devon’s north coast, Exmoor and Dartmoor, taking in the mood of the sky, rolling hills and streams or concentrating on the intricate twisted branches and roots of the bracken. Sophie Berger’s next stage is to recapture these sketches using oil paint when back at the studio in Dartmoor, thereby creating a strong connection between her work and the landscape.
