About the Item
Being born into an artist's family can obviously influence your future life. Yann C was immersed from an early age in this special atmosphere that made him attentive to all forms of artistic expression. Eager for knowledge, he studied various cutting-edge technologies, engineering and computer science, working a lot in France and abroad, realizing all the technical possibilities he could apply to art.
In 2007, he founded a sculpture workshop combining the world of art with that of technique, working for French and international artists. But Yann C has always wanted to create in parallel. The enthusiasm of the many artists he meets when seeing his creations has given him the courage to share them.
Knowing as well how to elaborate bronze or resin sculptures, he became interested in bringing color to his resins carved by a particular technique. His portraits of famous people such as Van Gogh, Charlot, Marylin Monroe and all the multitudes of emblematic animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, whales, rhinoceros, cats, make this painting sculpture a success and opens the horizon to this new strength of his artwork. The effects of matter, the play of light and shadow give each offer an image that evolves according to the positioning of the person looking at it and according to the light that falls on it.
But be aware that what Yann C presents today is only a small part of his projects and the future will undoubtedly hold serious lightning strikes for us.
