Rebecca Leveille (who is also known for her illustration work under the name Rebecca Guay) received a BFA from Pratt Institute in 1992. Leveille’s art has garnered words of praise from Jerry Saltz, Walter Robinson, and Peter Frank. She has been a guest artist/speaker at Rhode Island School of Design, University of Massachusetts, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Fordham University, a guest instructor at Pratt Institute, and a guest artist by invitation to shows and events in Melbourne Australia, Paris, Nagoya and Osaka (Japan), Valencia, San Fernando, and Torrelavega (Spain). Writer, sculptor, teacher and portrait painter Leonebel Jacobs first studied under Brush and Charles Hawthorne at the University of Oregon. A well traveled artist, Jacobs lived and painted in China, Hawaii, New York City and Los Angeles. She was a member of the American Watercolor Society, the American Federation of Arts, the Municipal Art Commission of New York, the National Association of Women Artists, the New York Watercolor Club and the Pen & Brush Club.
