The painting by Giovanni Battista Spinelli (1613 - 1647), an Italian painter, depicts Jacob’s dream. Giovanni Battista Spinelli was active during the mid-17th century mainly in Naples. His works can be found in private collections, and some are at the Uffizi and at the National Gallery, London. This painting can be dated around 1655.
