About the Item
Obirin Asiko (Fashionable Woman) is an original painting by Oladimeji Alabi. Oladimeji created the Obirin Asiko (Fashionable Woman) with Mixed Media on a 21W by 24H inches primed canvas.
This painting is created to document the uniqueness of African women's fashion style and ideology. My childhood experiences seeing my Mother dressed up in her "Iro and bubba" standing in front of the mirror making up while showing much charisma and attitude, shows a way of appreciating oneself, it's sí interesting and this inspires my art.
