It was friendship and then the discovery of the art of painting that prompted Jacques Rohaut to visit Philippe Lejeune's studio in Etampes in the 1970s during his law studies. Vita Merca Latvian artist born 1951. Her father was a conductor, her mother was fascinated with violin and entered Vita in the music world and later in fine arts.
