This delightful impressionistic landscape captured in subtle oils, depicts a foraging pig rooting in an olive grove. In the background two figures can be seen sat at a table to the side of a large barn. The continental scene is signed with initials, and dated to the lower left corner. Beautifully presented in a moulded gilt frame and wide linen slip. Indistinctly inscribed, verso. On canvas on stretchers.
