Arthur studied at the Julien Academy, Paris with Lefebvre, Doucet, Robert-Fleury,
Roll, Benjamin-Constant, Bouguereau, 1889-90. He was a member of Boston Art Club.
He exhibited at the Salon of the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts, Paris, 1897;
Art Institute of Chicago, 1897; Boston Art Club, 1898.
