Many of the figures seem eager to bored the evening steam train, positioning themselves as close as possible to the tracks and incoming carriages. The scene has been painted in an impasto style with multiple hues of brown, green, and orange. The painting is signed by the artist to the lower left-hand corner. On canvas on stretchers.
