A very good and typical example of his work which has been relined for preservation only.
He lived 1836 - 1905
Landscape and River Scene Painter. Son of Henry John Boddington, he painted mainly scenes of the Thames. He developed a very personal and recognisable style. His river scenes are usually painted in a pale evening light, using a range of very dark greens and browns.
