About the Item
When they selected the rendezvous place and date you knew that meeting in the open sea at sundown would be a challenge but the excitement was palatable. It instantly became a memorable date in the making. The sunset encompasses the entire sea and sky with breathtaking colors and cloud formations from vanilla to peach, apricot and magenta to deep purple. The waters feel warm and calm allowing the boats to rock gently when not catching the wind. The envisioned and painted seascape is by highly acclaimed artist Leonard Mizerek, distinguished by the American Society of Marine Artists as a Fellow, best known for his original oil paintings of marine landscapes world wide. Using a mixture of impressionist and realist techniques he applies the oil paint to provide the interplay of color, motion and light in his story. Mizerek is also a Fellow of Oil Painters of America and The Guild of Boston Artists. Among his endless list of additional prestigious awards and credits, Mizerek has been featured on the cover of American Artist Magazine as well as in both Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine and American Art Collector Magazine; in 2013 he was featured throughout Vero Beach Magazine as well. Further, he has held more than 50 solo art shows from The Mystic Seaport Museum to the Delaware Art Museum to the Muscarelle Museum in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mizereks works are sold and collected internationally by art collectors and art lovers alike.

Leonard Mizerek
Leonard Mizerek, honored as a Fellow of the highly prestigious American Society of Marine Artists, is best known for his marine works. Among his works that are in permanent museum collections, one hangs indeed in the Museum of Yvonne Jean-Haffen of Dinan, France. Amongst his endless list of prestigious awards and credits, Mizerek has been featured on the cover of American Artist magazine as well as in both Fine Art Connoisseur magazine and American Art Collector magazine. He has held more than 50 solo art shows from The Mystic Seaport Museum to the Delaware Art Museum to the Muscarelle Museum in Williamsburg, Virginia.
