2023

About the Item

LOOK FOR FREE SHIPPING AT CHECKOUT. Done for the Day is an 11 x 14 ( 17 x 20 framed ) oil on panel painting of the famous Radio Flyer Red Wagon that many children had growing up in the USA. This is the history of Radio Flyer that is depicted in this painting "Done for the Day" : Since 1917, our family-owned company has built a legacy of innovative, high-quality products with a mission to create smiles and warm memories that last a lifetime. Over the years, we have evolved our brand and product offerings, all while staying true to our unique heritage. We have reimagined our product line to serve the whole family – from our core wagon line, to thrilling go-karts, to the best electric bike line for families on the go. Today, Radio Flyer remains as it was at its inception — a Chicago-based family company committed to creating beautifully designed, quality products that inspire adventures fueled by imagination, family and fun. We are grateful to our customers for enjoying the ride with us for the past century, and we’re eager for the next hundred years. The person that owned this Radio Flyer was probably using the Red Flyer in their daily job and chores. Luke is a master in realist painting and there is another example in the images of a Texas Longhorn. He is also known for his pet portraits by commission (send message). Custom Framed Born in Sulphur, Louisiana, Luke Autrey is largely a self-taught artist living in Austin, Texas. With an interest in art and painting since childhood, Luke was inspired to start painting late in life by his family & partner. Luke was also inspired and given direction by family member, American Impressionist James Scoppettone. Luke's current series is inspired by his upbringing on a farm in a very rural area where ominous skies or oncoming dusk would end time outside. Also included are other paintings by Luke Autrey.
