Swirling, abstracted roses emerge from a deeply layered background. Bright red and pink blossoms on highly saturated blues, greens and purples. "As I painted, my original idea was subsumed by where the paint took me," says Ruth-Anne. "Which was to this moody, dramatic place."

Artist Nava Lundy crafts impressionist paintings that radiate delicate feminine charm, characterized by romantic and textured elements.
