Bonasi says of her work, "In the bird series I have regained my child. With a bright color palette I experience that joy and place of safety, that state of not knowing. I examine and interpret my references loosely with no set composition in mind. Drawing right onto the canvas like a child, I build an imaginative truth that cushions me from the world. The birds cover me with their feathers and I am a hatchling in the nest of my own making." Jodi Bonassi has been actively exhibiting since 1994. She has had solo exhibitions at California State University Northridge, Coagula Curatorial, and other venues including a 2018 retrospective at The Museum of the San Fernando Valley...

  • "Take Your Pleasure Seriously" - Mixed Media Textured Collage Painting
    By Cabell Molina
    Located in West Hollywood, CA
This 36 inch square original mixed media painting on canvas is wired and ready to hang. Layers of patterned collage elements and acrylic paint bring this artwork to life. The layering and unique texture of colorful clippings and geometrical designs create a window looking into a luxurious escape perfect for any home or office. The sides of the artwork are painted and it does not require framing. It is signed and titled by the artist on the back of the artwork. Molina's work is influenced by her prior career as an advertising art director–but now her goal now is to sell perspective rather than product. In this series, Cabell reclaims classic femininity as multi-faceted, giving voice and texture to lost imagery. Her art pushes for colorful expansion of a “woman’s place” while it explores the complex dynamic of a woman’s emotions, celebrating the bygone glamour of mid-century fashion and deconstructing its patriarchal underpinnings. Cabell’s painting/collages read as meditations on the female experience and the pursuit for sovereignty in a historically male dominated culture. She studied graphic design, and fine art at San Diego State University and Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Her work has been featured in NYT The Cut, CNN Style, and Vogue, as well as shown in multinational galleries and can be found in private collections around the world. • Golden Glow
    By Lee Herring
    Located in Los Angeles, CA
Lee Herring focuses his contemporary paintings on vibrant, textured, and abstract landscapes that convey fleeting moments. Herring's energetic artworks are inspired by everyday moments and memories as he captures these ephemeral spaces within the context of a spontaneous, dream-like landscape. This 25-inches square original pop landscape painting on canvas is signed by the artist on the front and back. This artwork is framed in a simple white frame and is wired and ready to hang. Size and price include the frame. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and International shipping. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by the gallery is included. Lee Herring was born in Sunderland, in northeast England. After excelling in art throughout his early education, he went on to study Fine Art at the University of Chester where he developed his painting style. Herring graduated with 1st class honors and was awarded the University Prize for his work. Years of dedication to his creative practice have cultivated Herring’s current multimedia style. Each of Herring’s paintings evolves through a spontaneous process. The conventional paintbrush is abandoned as Herring employs layers of impasto pastel hues in acrylic, markers, neon spray paint, and a glaze of varnish with pallet knives, trowels, and scrapers. The physicality of his work is evident in the visceral nature of his paintings. Sell-out shows and professional collaborations characterize Herring's international presence as his style constantly develops. His artworks are displayed and represented internationally with a strong following of investors, collectors, and reputable galleries.
