Bob Tabor
5447-Ed 1/8 - can be vertical - mounted on plexiglass

About the Item

Water photography - abstract feel - hues of blue. About the Artist: Known for his large format prints of equestrian portraits and stunning seascapes Bob's unique approach to his work creates an intimate visceral experience for the viewer. For his equestrian portraits, only natural light is used to illuminate his subjects. The original background is then removed and replaced with either black or white. The image is then dramatically cropped to enhance the graphic elements. All artwork is printed in Limited Editions, signed and numbered by the artist and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The prints are made with archival paper and inks and are available with traditional framing or the diasec process (mounted on plexi). His work can be seen in Ralph Lauren shops on four continents, private collections and galleries worldwide.

    Located in New York, NY
Israel-born photographer Shai Kremer lives and works in New York. He completed his MFA studies at the School of Visual Arts (S.V.A) in Manhattan. For many years, Kremer's eye has been drawn to themes of urban destruction and reconstruction and to landscapes evidencing trauma. These concerns merged in his ambitious series W.T.C: Concrete Abstract, which explores the impact of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. For more than a decade, Kremer made periodic visits to Ground Zero, focusing his camera on the efforts towards recovery, repair, and renewal. As a collection, Concrete Abstract conveys the gradual progression from tragedy towards healing. Each large-scale archival pigment print in the series is composed from as many as sixty to 100 overlapping images, resulting in a subtle collage that invites closer inspection while also reading as a unified whole. W.T.C: Concrete Abstract series was shown in the following venues: 9.11 Memorial Museum New York
Museum of the City of New York
The Bronx Museum of the Arts
