16″ x 20″ Print received from the artist personally in late 1980’s.
Richard Harrington, OC, was a Canadian photographer. He is best known for his photographs taken in the Canadian Arctic between 1948 and 1953. Born in Hamburg, Germany, he immigrated to Canada in the mid-1920s.
This 16″ x 20″ Print was received from the artist personally in the late 1980’s. Signed and dated on the front.
Richard Harrington was the only Canadian photographer included into Edward Steichen’s "Family of Man" exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art, 1951. The first photography exhibition at MoMA.
