About the Item
500 million birds of different sorts and species stopover at the Hula Valley, in northern Israel, on their flights between Europe and Africa. The main migrating season is in the fall, when pelicans, herons, storks, and cranes arrive in huge flocks, along with birds of prey and other winged species. About 35,000 cranes arrive in the autumn months, and about 15,000 of them stay for the winter. However, for me, it is the individuals that are more interesting: documenting their struggle, the loneliness that comes with such a dangerous trip and the triumph of paving their own path. ***** Limited Edition Fine Art Prints, series of 10 per each size: Each print comes with a hand signed and numbered certificate of authenticity (will be sent separately). Each certificate is printed on a branded Hahnemühle watermarked paper. The paper has deckled edges with UV-Security fibers and is comprised of two hologram stickers with unique serial numbers - one goes on the certificate and the other on the back of the print. The print also includes an outer white border, with the image name, copy number, and a printed signature. Printing: Each fine art print is produced under careful supervision, to the highest standard, on archival stock using pigment inks. Prints are made on the finest Hahnemühle papers, including Photo Rag Ultra Smooth, Photo Rag Bright White, and Photo Rag FineArt Baryta.
