A coral orange horizontally striped sky is mirrored in a deep blue seascape; both composed to create an abstract composition in this large-scale photograph by Danny Weiss, entitled, "Into the Deep". This waterscape photograph has a painterly feel with the lines of color in a rose pink and golden yellow sunset reflecting off the surface of a large cresting wave, that refracts coral and rose pinks amongst the cerulean and sapphire blues of the water. The photographer Danny Weiss’s images capture the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Weiss’s waves are replete in rich tones of magenta, fuschia, orange and blue. The motion of the crashing waves contrasts sharply with the crisp horizon lines. In this series the waves crest, surge, and swell. The water foams up in the whitecaps and the primal, tangible, force of the water is palpable. Yet there is a peacefulness and inner awareness that the experience of these fleeting moments is universal.

Danny Weiss is a New York based photographer who who captures the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
