Additional Information: Photographic diptych is an installation view from the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled Big Bambu: "You Can't, You Don't, and You Won't Stop." The monumental bamboo structure in the form of a cresting wave measured 100 feet long, 50 feet high and 50 feet wide and was created over the span of three seasons, with visitors intended to witness the creation process. Per the exhibition press release, "The ephemeral state of the work will be documented by the artists in various scale photographs and video." A cropped section of this image was featured in the May 2010 "Design Boom" article on the exhibit.
