Renowned for her love of artistic challenges, independent spirit, and the ability to coax out the soulful, daring, and authentic expressions from her subjects, Angelika's work is an exploration of diverse styles, moods, and subjects. Her portfolio reflects a deep passion for strong, sensual feminine photography, a style that has evolved over time, earning her a reputation for "pushing the envelope." Known for infusing cinematography into still images, Angelika meticulously plays with light and shadows, captivating viewers and leaving them eager for more. Her work goes beyond conventional beauty standards, breaking societal stereotypes about mature women and celebrating ageless beauty. Through her lens, she captures nude portraits, revealing the complete person – their expression, personality, and individual mood. While Angelika has gained international recognition in advertising and publishing, her true passion lies in her seven-year project, I AM. This transformative work challenges society's view of women over 40, presenting them in their most vulnerable yet liberated states. In a culture obsessed with youth, I AM strips away devalued images, replacing them with a celebration of agelessness. Born and raised in Bad Homburg, Germany, Angelika's journey led her to study photography in Frankfurt before spending over three decades in Paris and New York. Now residing in the Southwest of France with her husband, a fellow photographer turned art and antique dealer, Angelika finds wholeness in the birth of I AM, confident that her project will redefine societal standards of beauty.

  • Cloud, Contemporary Color Photography on Reflections
    By Roberta Fineberg
    Located in New york, NY
For the image “Cloud” the artist Roberta Fineberg’s attention and equilibrium remained anchored on an anthropomorphic cloud during an unusual springtime (the pandemic 2020) in New York. Sheltering in place, with the soul of the City laid bare, birds sang louder than usual outside city dwellers’ windows. Sunlight illuminated the empty streets, formerly bustling. Nature reigned. A contemporary color photograph, Cloud, 2020 by Roberta Fineberg is 18" x 24" (sheet size) an archival pigment print on baryta paper in an edition of 5. Photograph is signed by the artist. Provenance: RF Archive *** Artist Bio: As a photographer and visual artist, Roberta Fineberg (RF) focuses on the themes of serendipity, inventiveness, and development of ideas for her photography, video, installations, works on paper, and painting. Drawn to experimentation, she explores diverse mediums and subjects such as the ephemeral (butterfly series), stolen moments (documentary work), play, timelessness, the enduring, and significance of matter. In July 2022, Roberta Fineberg’s Double Helix was included in a Sotheby’s auction in New York City and exhibited in the preview show Contemporary Discoveries. Selected exhibitions include: Time Gallery New York (2022), Phyllis Harriman Gallery New York studio shows (2022; 2020), CADAF online art...
