Framing: Maple frame with constrasting walnut splines, 99% UV resistant glass
Mounting: Conservation-mounted using acid-free Japanese wheat-starch paste and Japanese paper
Hazel Albarn is an English visual artist and set-designer. She worked for the radical theatre director Joan Littlewood at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, and most recently produced the set of Bilimankhwe International Theatre’s production of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Throughout her life, she has tried to give back to those around her through teaching and school residencies.
