About the Item
Sarah Fosse paints an original artwork freehand using professional drawing tools and a specialised tablet. A highly technical printing technique called dye sublimation is then used to print the artwork in HD on to aluminium using high gloss inks. The end result is an extremely striking vivid artwork.
High definition digital print on gloss ink framed in a white lacquered gloss frame - ready to hang
Prints are made to order and then set onto aluminium and framed before being ready to ship. Lead times are roughly 4 weeks before we can ship out, but what a vibrant and cool artwork a collector will be welcomed by as a result.
Sarah's artistic influence derives from Derain and Matisse. Her passion for Fauvism and Expressionism is unmistakably conveyed by her bold, vibrant colour palette and the manner in which she deconstructs and distorts the urban landscape. Having always lived near water (be it coastal or river) Sarah has a fascination with its movement, reflections and energy, which has also inspired her unique style.
Her paintings have been featured by the likes of The Wall Street Journal, Vogue and the BBC and thanks to an ever-increasing following she is able to boast private and corporate collectors across Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
Working and living in London, she uses her adopted home city and the travel it affords her as the inspiration for her work. London, New York, Hong Kong and Paris all feature regularly within her portfolio as she cites them as favourite destinations of hers.
