Original antique poster for The World of Dress edited by Mrs Aria Fashions of London Paris Vienna and New York New Year's number now ready Price 6d. Great design featuring an elegant lady wearing a black dress and looking at herself in a mirror with a candle by the dresser on the framed text about the magazine issue and the rest of the stylised bold lettering above and below. The successful English fashion and motoring writer and journalist Eliza Davis Aria (1866-1931) founded The World of Dress magazine and was an influential modern society hostess. Good condition, restored paper losses, staining, restored tears, backed on linen.
