Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster - Loose Talk Can Cost Lives Don't Be a Dope and Spread Inside Dope - featuring great artwork by the American commercial illustrator and portrait painter Cecil Calvert Beall (1892-1970) showing two workers wearing overalls and chatting while drinking beer at a bar with a faint image of a smiling Adolf Hitler listening to their conversation in the background. Distributed in the interest of national defense, and as a means of obtaining funds for ambulances wherever needed, British and American Ambulance Corps, Inc, 120 Lexington Avenue, New York City. Good condition, restored tears, minor staining, backed on linen.
