About the Item

Original vintage winter sport ski travel poster for St Moritz featuring a great design by Hugo Laubi (1888-1959) depicting the St Moritz smiling sun logo as a baby with curly hair lying in a wooden cradle and holding a pair of skis with the snowy mountains of the Swiss Alps in the background, the cot is decorated with a carved heart shape and the year 1867 at the end, and pictures of a lady skiing and a curling stone, a man on a skeleton bobsleigh sled and a race horse on the side, the title in white on the blue sky above. Printed in Zurich by JC Muller. Good condition, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.
