Original vintage train travel poster for Ilfracombe On Glorious Devon's Ocean Coast by Southern Railway featuring scenic artwork by the British maritime artist Kenneth Denton Shoesmith (1890-1939) of a bird's-eye view over the seaside resort town with boats sailing into and moored in the natural harbour with the historic St Nicholas's Chapel lighthouse at the end, people walking by the buildings and enjoying swimming and sunbathing on the beach coves below the rocky hills in the background, the title above and further information below - Guide (3d stamps) to Mr Rooke Town Hall Ilfracombe Corridor Expresses from London Waterloo Southern Railway. Printed by Waterlow and Sons Ltd, London and Dunstable. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, restored paper losses, backed on linen.
