Original vintage Soviet film poster for a biographical drama movie How The Legend Began / Так Начиналась Легенда about the pilot, cosmonaut and first man in space Yuri Gagarin (Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin; 1934-1968) directed by Boris Grigorev and starring Oleg Orlov, Larisa Luzhina and Georgiy Burkov featuring a black and white photo of a young boy smiling in front of a globe set within coloured circles, a Soviet red star shooting up into space by an iconic image of a smiling Yuri Gagarin in his cosmonaut helmet surrounded by white stars against the blue background, the stylised white title lettering in the centre above the credit text. Good condition, restored paper losses in margins, restored tears, backed on linen.
