About the Item

Original vintage advertising poster by the renowned poster artist Leonetto Cappiello (1875-1942): Le Thermogene engendre la chaleur et combat toux, rhumatismes, points do cotes / Thermogene pads that generate heat to fight coughs and rheumatism. Iconic design featuring a figure of a man in green holding two hot pads against his chest with bright orange flames coming out of his mouth and the stylised text in French in red and yellow letters. 1930s reissue of Cappiello's classic 1909 design. Printed by Imprimerie Marci, Brussels. Very good condition, restored tear.
