Original vintage motorsport poster for the Dessauer Motorrad-u. Autorennen unter der Losung: Sportler, vorwarts im Kampf fur Frieden, demokratischer Einheit und Umabhangigkeit! / Dessau Motorcycle and Car Races under the slogan Athletes, move forward in the fight for peace, democratic unity and independence! Dynamic design featuring an illustration of a number 12 racing car speeding towards the viewer with an arch bridge in the background, the bold text above and below. Held on 1 October 1950 this event was organised by the German Sport Committee and the Dessau Motorsport Association / DS Deutsche Sportausschuss (MSK) & Motorsportgemeinschaft Dessau; the logos of the Free German Federation of Trade Unions and Free German Youth / Freie Deutsche Gewerkschaftsbund (FDGB) & Freie Deutsche Jugend (FDJ) are shown next to a silhouette of the Rathaus / Dessau Town Hall above the title text. Good condition, folds, minor staining, minor creasing.
