Original Vintage Motorsport Poster XIX International ADAC Eifel Race Nurburgring

About the Item

Original vintage motorsport poster for the XIX Internationales ADAC Eifel Rennen annual international motor race organised by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC; established 1903) German Automobile Club on 26 August 1956 in Nurburgring featuring a dynamic illustration of a red sports car numbered 2 followed by a number 7 motorcycle speeding towards the viewer with the bold stylised title above and ADAC logo below. The 1956 Eifelrennen was won by the German racing and rally driver Walter Shock (1920-2005) in a Mercedes Benz receiving the Silbernes Lorbeerblatt Bundesprasidenten / Silver Laurel Leaf sport award in 1957. Printed by Bastian Winningen. Good condition, restored tears, backed on linen.
