About the Item
Original vintage air travel poster for Acapulco issued by Aeronaves De Mexico (Aeromexico; founded 1934) featuring a great image depicting scuba diving tanks and water sport equipment including a mask and fins with suitcases and bags, a golf set and skis as well as a fishing rod showing the available summer and winter sports during a holiday at the popular beach resort of Acapulco on the Pacific coast near the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains during the 1940s-1960s tourism heyday, all with hanging ACA luggage labels and stickers on them, the bold text above and below next to the eagle knight ACA logo that reflects the strong ancient Mexican culture as a symbol of courage and leadership in a traditional style design. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, restored creasing, staining, backed on linen.
