Original vintage Germany travel poster - Munchen Das Tor zum Suden / Munich The Gateway to the South - featuring a view of bikes and cars driving through a stone arch of the historic 1852 Siegestor / Victory Gate on Ludwigstrasse with people walking past the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek / Bavarian State Library and the Ludwigskirche / St Ludwig Church towards the 17th century baroque architecture Theatinerkirche / Theatine Church and the Feldherrnhalle / Field Marshals' Hall monument on the Odeonplatz square, the title on the lightly cloudy blue sky above and rest of the text below - Alle Auskunft durch den Verkehrsvereien Munchen Pavillon am Bahnhofplatz / All information is available from the Munich Tourist Office at the Bahnhofplatz train station - against a yellow and blue shaded background. Excellent condition, backed on linen.
