1985 reprint of the second Monaco Automobile Grand Prix of 1930 by Falcucci

1985

About the Item

Robert Falcucci 🇫🇷 (1900 - 1989) was a French painter, illustrator, poster artist and decorator. He worked for the car manufacturer #Renault from 1923 to 1927, creating many advertising pages in magazines, including for #Omnia and #Automobilia. In the 1930s, he illustrated the program for the Monte Carlo Rally (1931). The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the oldest and most prestigious races in the world. Created in 1920 by Antony Noghès, this very special race is the slowest of the Formula 1 world championship. The narrowness of the tracks, winding and lined with rails, requires absolute concentration. Qualifying is crucial, as overtaking in the race is very difficult.
