About the Item

This lithograph with collage of twine, fabric and photograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Christo" at the centre right of the image. It is hand numbered from the edition of 100, at the centre of the right image. It was printed by Landfall Press, Chicago and published in a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered impressions by L. M. Ericsson, New Jersey. There were also 35 artist's proofs impressions. The photograph is by by Eeva-Inkeri. The work bears the artist’s copyright ink stamp, verso. Literature: Schellmann, J. & Benecke, J. (1988). Christo Prints and Objects, 1963-1987: A Catalogue Raisonne. New York: Abbeville Press. Reference: Schellmann & Benecke 119 Condition: Very good condition. Minor handling marks along the left sheet edge.
