About the Item
Artist Commentary:
The Joy Buddies were created from a simple question I asked myself - if joy were tangible, what would it look like? The Joy Buddies message is that we are better, together. I created them to symbolize the joy and hope I feel like I come together in unity with the people I love. Over the years, they have exhibited across the country in various sculptural and digital art forms but always keeping true to their same human-like shape and fire-painted designs.
