About the Item

This is a limited edition bronze sculpture using the lost wax method of casting with hand finishing. The patina is a deep ferric nitrate in brown with a reddish cast. The sculpture is meant to evoke the activity at a volcano. It is a place where lava is flowing, old land is being destroyed and new land is being created.
