About the Item
Inspired by the Shoulder Stand in Yoga, aka Sarvangasan, Curiá brings an abstraction to the pose as the figure's legs morph into a wooden boat. The figure has a beautiful green patina that flows into a warm copper rust at its extremities, adding to the visual aesthetic of the sculpture. The cast bronze sculpture is mounted on a patinaed steel base.
