Antique French Napoleon III lamp made of gilt bronze and polychrome porcelain.
The three porcelain sculptures rest on an oval marble base surrounded by gilded bronze profiling.
The woman is depicted inside a sedan chair and is courted by two noble men.
Serving as a backdrop to the scene are bronze vines alternating with porcelain petals where two arms with candle holders are depicted.
Provenance: early 20th century France.
