Pair of antique French Flambeaux (Candelabra) 19th century

About the Item

Pair of French Empire Flambeaux belonging to the early 19th century. The central shaft features the figure of a burnished bronze woman carrying a two-light log on her head. The strain is characterized by two winged griffins ending in long tails and carrying posacera on their heads. The woman rests on a sphere that in turn lodges on a triangular satin-finished bronze base ending in a claw foot. Provenance: early 19th century France. Measurements:15x15 H67cm.
