About the Item

Julie Levesque creates sculptures and installations that have a strong narrative focus. Her work is concerned with ideas about relationships, motion, and transformations. Working with a domestic vernacular of houses, furniture and the like, her stark white objects have a powerful effect. Flock is comprised of 200 birds, each measuring 3" x 1.25" x 1.5", made of hydrocal plaster with screw mounts.
